If you’re dreaming of a waterfront celebration filled with color, personality, and pure joy, Amanda and Luke’s summer wedding is the perfect inspiration. As a Cape Cod wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to days that feel effortless, vibrant, and completely true to the couple and this one checked every box.

Set along the Massachusetts coastline, their wedding embraced everything that makes Cape Cod weddings so special. The salty air, soft coastal light, and relaxed energy created the perfect backdrop for a day that felt both elevated and genuinely fun.
From the very beginning, Amanda and Luke made it clear they wanted their wedding to feel like them. Nothing overly formal, nothing forced, just a beautiful day surrounded by their favorite people, with thoughtful details woven throughout.
One of my favorite parts of the day was their ceremony, where their dog made a special appearance. There’s something so personal about including your pet, and it instantly made the entire moment feel even more meaningful. Guests were smiling, laughing, and completely present, which is always the best kind of energy to photograph.

The design of the day leaned into soft, colorful pastels that felt perfectly suited for a summer wedding on the water. Their florals brought in a mix of blush, peach, lavender, and light blue tones that added a fresh, romantic feel without overpowering the natural coastal setting. Everything felt light, airy, and intentional, exactly what you want for a Cape Cod summer celebration.
As a Massachusetts wedding photographer, I’m always paying attention to how light interacts with a space, and this day delivered in the best way. The soft glow coming off the water, combined with the pastel tones, created such a beautiful and flattering atmosphere throughout the entire day. It’s the kind of setting that allows moments to unfold naturally while still feeling refined and elevated.

Amanda and Luke’s energy was what truly made the day stand out. They were relaxed, excited, and fully present with each other and their guests. Whether it was quiet moments together by the water or celebrating on the dance floor, every part of the day felt genuine. That kind of energy always translates into photos that feel alive and timeless.
Their reception carried that same feeling forward. It was less about tradition and more about celebrating. Lots of laughter, a packed dance floor, and the kind of moments that you can’t plan but always hope for. Those are the moments I’m always looking for as a Cape Cod wedding photographer.
What I loved most about this wedding is how it balanced beauty with personality. It felt elevated without ever feeling stiff. Thoughtful without being overdone. And above all, it felt like a true reflection of Amanda and Luke.

If you’re planning a Cape Cod wedding or anywhere along the Massachusetts coast, this is exactly the kind of energy you want to lean into. Focus on what feels like you, embrace the natural beauty of the setting, and let the day unfold.
As a Cape Cod wedding photographer and Massachusetts wedding photographer, my goal is always to capture your day in a way that feels both refined and real. The big moments, the in-between ones, and everything that makes your story yours.
