Mike and Elvis’s Tuscany wedding at Borgo Divino was one of those experiences that remind you why love stories are worth photographing. Set among the rolling vineyards and golden October light of the Italian countryside, it wasn’t just a beautiful destination wedding — it was beautiful because of them and the people who surrounded them. You could genuinely feel how deeply they care for their family and friends and how deeply they’re loved in return.
The celebration took place at Borgo Divino, a charming venue tucked into the Tuscan countryside with sweeping views of vineyards in every direction. The weekend began with the most perfect Italian welcome party, a pizza night straight out of a movie. Picture long tables draped in red and white checkered linens, endless wine, and a signature Aperol Spritz cart on tap that kept the drinks flowing all night long. Guests were welcomed with adorable gift bags, and the evening turned into an all out dance party with a live band that eventually carried over to the pool for a late night after party.
The next morning was quiet, slow, and full of intention, the kind of morning you dream of on your wedding day. Mike and Elvis got ready together, surrounded by their closest friends, sharing calm moments before the ceremony. There was no rush, no stress, just pure joy and anticipation.
Their ceremony was emotional and heartwarming, the kind that makes even the photographer tear up behind the camera. Two of their closest friends performed a song during the ceremony, filling the air with so much love and emotion that there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Under the Tuscan sun, surrounded by vineyards and people who adore them, Mike and Elvis exchanged vows that had everyone smiling and crying in equal measure.
After portraits among the vineyards, the evening unfolded into a candlelit reception filled with lush florals, incredible Italian food, and heartfelt toasts. Just when everyone thought the magic couldn’t top itself, Mike and Elvis surprised their guests with fireworks during the cake cutting, a truly unforgettable moment that lit up the Tuscan sky.
And then came the dancing, lots of it. With Taylor Swift’s new album just released that week, the dance floor energy was unmatched. Later, the celebration continued downstairs in the wine cellar, where a DJ kept the party going late into the night.
From start to finish, the Tuscany wedding at Borgo Divino was something truly special, not just because of the breathtaking scenery, but because of the love, laughter, and warmth that filled every moment. It was such an honor to be there documenting it all for Mike and Elvis, two of the kindest, most genuine souls I’ve ever met.
And as the night came to a close, surrounded by friends, wine, and endless joy, it was clear that this love story will never go out of style.
